"In all human affairs there are efforts, and there are results, and the strength of the effort is the measure of the result. Chance is not. Gifts, powers, material, intellectual, and spiritual possessions are the fruits of effort; they are thoughts completed, objects accomplished, visions realized.

The Vision that you glorify in your mind, the Ideal that you enthrone in your heart—this you will build your life by, this you will become.”

James Allen (As A Man Thinketh)

You are much more than what you do

“This is your life. Make decisions based on your own path. Let no one define it for you!” Tyler Perry

Have you ever went on Facebook and by the time your finished scrolling through all the feeds you find that your comparing your life to everyone you see?

For instance:

John and Sofia are getting married and you’re not even dating anyone.

Jill is having her second child and you don’t even have a puppy, let alone one child. Peter is in grad school and you’re still in undergrad. Beverly just bought her own house and you’re still living with mom.

Usually in life human beings tend to define themselves by what they’ve accomplished. So if you haven’t accomplished anything lately or aren’t in the process of accomplishing something, you may ask yourself: What am I doing with my life?

You are much more than what you do. Just keep in mind that you’re here for a reason so don’t question your abilities if you haven’t peaked just yet. More often than not it takes some longer than others.

After all if everyone had the same path in life, this would be a pretty dull and predictable world.

Stand Firm

“Infinite patience brings immediate results.” -Wayne W. Dyer

Is there something you’ve been patiently waiting for that seems like it’s taking forever? Healing from a sickness, employment, financial breakthrough, etc.

Now infinite patience doesn’t mean waiting aimlessly. Rather it is waiting with a purpose. It is having a goal and preparing yourself for when the opportunity arises for you to receive what you are waiting for. It’s easy to become discouraged when things don’t turn out as you expected.

Instead of becoming weary in waiting. Stand firm until you are ready to receive.
